About this artwork
Instinctive Resonance is an exploration of the invisible forces that dwell within us. This work follows no pre-established rules; it is the fruit of a pure gesture, a creative impulse, where the hand engages directly with matter to translate the echo of the unconscious.
The vertical structure, the true backbone of the composition, evokes both grounding and ascension. Worked in ochre, earth, and sand tones, the canvas exudes a primal, almost archaeological… warmth, while allowing luminous bursts to shine through, suggesting a spiritual emergence.
A reversible work, faithful to my instinctive creative process, this canvas has the particularity of not having an imposed direction.
It was designed to offer two different readings:
- In a sense, it evokes rootedness and the power of the depths.
- Conversely, it becomes a vertical explosion, an upward surge.
