My whole life has been a quest for roots. Born in France to Algerian parents, raised between a Catholic school and a Muslim home, I experienced uprooting as an inner quest. As a child, I painted suns to create my own light; as a teenager, I was already fascinated by consciousness and time.
After a life of duty and going through a dark night where I lost everything, I broke the pattern of sacrifice at the dawn of my 60th year to exist under my own name: Nora Boulesnane.
Inspired by Carl Jung, the physics of consciousness, and Ikigai, I paint to transmute cellular wounds and liberate ancestral memory. My work explores two key postures: the seated grounding of introspection and the standing posture of the liberated Sovereign.
My paintings are catalysts for awakening, designed to raise our vibrational frequency and awaken our inner power.
