About this artwork
A dried up landscape with a corn field after the harvest. However, this scene now becomes a metaphor for transience. Where previously there was a field of closely lined up plants, you can now see a group of single stalks. These have become solitary sculptures here. The viewer observes the arrangement from a frog's perspective. The monochrome structures stand out in front of a cloudy and blue sky. The Latin title "Ariditas" means "dryness, drought".
