The title of the picture “Floreus” means “rich in flowers”. The colors shine against a dark blue background. The color spectrum forms a harmonious symphony, in which the white flower in the center of the bush plays a solo role. The floral shapes are highlighted by sweeping and strong outlines, which also continue into the body of the vase. The lines that move through the picture connect flowers and leaves, which means that naturalism loses meaning…
and an abstract representation of the subject is achieved. Flowers in a vase - this is a traditional subject that continues to fascinate contemporary art. I wanted to express the metaphor of the flower still life once again in the picture “Flores”.
