About this artwork
This painting, entitled “Formix”, continues the “Movendo” series. It is a compositional and color variant of its expressionist predecessor. Lively structures develop within an emerald green frame in which the colors blue, blue-violet, orange and burgundy compete with each other. The Latin title of the picture means "vault, arch, heavenly vault", which could reflect the message of the picture. The original vision of a landscape has been translated…
into a more abstract language during the painting process. This should give rise to various associations in the viewer. A certain hanging of the picture is by no means predetermined. In different rotations, new creative impressions are offered. The picture is provided with a black floater frame. The painter's signature is on the back of the canvas.
