About this artwork
The mountain range lights up surprisingly bright at night. There is a great contrast of light to the almost black night sky. It is unclear whether the impression arises that the mountains shine by themselves or reflect the light from another source. The structures tinted in pink in the green and black foreground are puzzles. The nightly atmosphere in which the mountains are immersed is particularly vivid when the picture is hung in a bright room.
