About this artwork
The picture is about the magic of colors. The palette of chosen colors pink, red, green, yellow and blue creates a lively and contrasting interplay. When I was working on this picture, I had the idea that I would make the idea of creation itself a spiritual theme. That's why I gave the picture the Latin title "Origo", which reflects exactly this. The lower layer of varnish appears under the oil paints in several places, creating passages with very…
exciting effects. The shapes created by sweeping brush strokes are reminiscent of plants from a mysterious world.
