About this artwork
Having discovered a new-found direction in my paintings, I began to release the energy into several canvases with more fervour than previously, integrating foreground bursts of swirls against a backdrop of multi-coloured washes. The painting is activated through intense contrasting colours of black, scarlet orange and white cloud-like formations.
