About this artwork
Work made from casted bronze and stainless steel welded toghether by welding technique in protective gas medium. Was concepted in the Bronze symposium in Csongrad, Hungary, 2018 where the part from bronze was cast, and finalized in the artist's studio, where it was united with the stainless steel part. The work respects the rules of composition with which the artist operates and is a remake of an unrealized idea that was called the "The star of Bethleem"…
and which had in its composition that stainless steel sphere present in it.

« I am constantly questioning the most unexpected forms and formulas with surprising sculptures; each one an incentive for imagination, for emotion, and, possibly, dialogue. »
Nueleanu Bogdan is a prizewinning Romanian sculptor with international exposure. Attracted by the chromatic valences it possesses, Bogdan works primarily with bronze sometimes welding it with other metals like stainless steel. His sculptures are futuristic, post-apocalyptic structures that seem to have been plucked out of a different dimension.
