I smile ‘because you accept me happy.
I pretend because I need to fit in.
I cover up because reality is concealed.
I cannot break,’ because I am perceived strong.
Therefore, I use filters to colour my emotions and to camouflage my… needs and desires.
I conceal the blemishes and shine tone the freckles
And now, I am accepted!
