About this artwork
The open window offers a breathtaking view of the sparkling blue sea. The horizon is well defined and a few scattered clouds announce a dynamic breeze. Offshore,… two sailboats cut through the waves.
This scene seems to capture a moment frozen in time, as if someone had just hastily left the room to go sailing, finally free of their movements and thoughts. The emptiness left behind - the deserted armchair and the bare table - contrasts with the promise of adventure and freedom evoked by the sailboat at sea. The entire composition suggests a momentary escape, a quest for personal freedom, and a communion with nature. nature.

« I am looking for abstraction on a concrete basis. I introduce the viewer into a known environment and let them get lost in a labyrinth of free thought. »
After a scientific career culminating in a doctorate in nuclear chemistry, she turned to an artistic life. Her training led her to explore various workshops in the Netherlands, Switzerland, and then France, where she honed her technique. She is now listed in the Dictionary of Listed Artists. She has sold her work in the United States, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Spain, and, of course, France.
Her background as a chemist gave her a unique perception of colors. Now, in her painting, she attempts bold combinations, seeking to master the balance between contrast and harmony.
The artist seeks abstraction based on concrete reality, and allows the viewer to lose themselves in a labyrinth of free thought.
