About this artwork
This original melted volcanic rock wall sculpture is one of the latest artworks of the skillful Bulgarian contemporary professional sculptor Ognyan Chitakov. In this stone sculpture, he pours raw energy and bold tension, capturing the organic clash and harmony of strength and fragility. The jagged earthy forms and textured surfaces invite touch, sparking emotions of resilience and chaotic beauty. It transforms any wall into a dynamic story, embodying…
power and movement that will energize your space with spirited presence.

« Sculpture is my main way of thinking, my method of communication, my way of living... »
Ognyan Chitakov is an established Bulgarian sculptor whose works have featured in national prizes and exhibitions. He loves sculpture for all the elements it allows him to gather together: form, space, function, architecture, design, engineering, technology and - above all - art. He primarily produces stone works that carry ancient and sacred connections, and whose scale ranges from the modest to the monumental.
