About this artwork
This original granite sculpture is a recent work by the contemporary Bulgarian sculptor Ognyan Chitakov. He carves this stone sculpture to capture the raw strength and resilience within us. Its jagged edges and bold form celebrate endurance and the beauty of imperfection. Placing this piece indoors or outdoors invites nature to harmonize with its energy, inspiring a sense of grounded triumph in any space it inhabits. It is a powerful reminder that…
even in roughness, there is elegance and unstoppable spirit.

« Sculpture is my main way of thinking, my method of communication, my way of living... »
Ognyan Chitakov is an established Bulgarian sculptor whose works have featured in national prizes and exhibitions. He loves sculpture for all the elements it allows him to gather together: form, space, function, architecture, design, engineering, technology and - above all - art. He primarily produces stone works that carry ancient and sacred connections, and whose scale ranges from the modest to the monumental.
