About this artwork
The horn of plenty or an abstract flower vase. By far, the most technical piece in this series and the one that required the most planning and engineering.
In crafting this sculpture, I embraced the harmony between natural wood and the modern sheen of acrylic. With each curve and swirl, I sought to capture the dance of light and shadow, the balance of fluidity and structure. This piece is meant to evoke a sense of growth and continuity, marrying… organic forms with human ingenuity. Its presence will energize your space, inviting contemplation and inspiring a dynamic atmosphere.
The precision cut 80mm hole that runs through the entire piece was the main culprit and it taught me many lessons.
This piece is a showcase of precision and striving for perfection since anything less would not do it justice.
Perfect alignment of the endgrain that flows through the floating piece is definitely my favorite part.
