About this artwork
A Dialogue with Kadishman (Part 1) is a deeply personal piece reflecting my first impressions of Israeli art.
When I arrived in Israel, I kept seeing the same symbols — oranges on trees and Kadishman’s iconic sheep. At first, they felt ironic, even naïve.
But as I delved into the stories of Israeli artists and their symbolism, these images transformed.
Kadishman’s sheep became a metaphor for inner strength, silence, and hope — quiet, yet powerful.…
The faceless figure with covered eyes represents my moment of transition — standing between old and new realities. This work is about adaptation, acceptance, and how unfamiliar symbols become part of one’s internal landscape.
The painting is part of the “Harmony of the Elements” series, where I explore transformation, resilience, and emotional balance.

In my work I explore the idea of inner freedom. I create nave, fairy-tale worlds filled with hidden meaning. My heroines are closed eyes and open universes. They turn away from the noise of the external world to hear their own voice and preserve their individuality.
