In this drawing, I captured a rainy street in Osaka, a lively and well-known area in the city center often visited by tourists.
I was drawn to how the usual crowds dissolve into a quiet flow of umbrellas, reflected on the wet pavement.
The vertical rhythm of signs, wires, and streetlights contrasts with the slow, almost meditative movement of people in the rain, revealing a calmer side of a typically bustling place.
