Toward the Light
Toward the Light explores the movement of water toward a radiant source of light breaking through from above. Layers of deep blue, turquoise, and luminous white create a sense of depth, motion, and immersion, as if the viewer were looking upward from beneath the surface of the sea.
The expressive texture and energetic movement of the paint contrast with the soft glow at the center of the composition. The light becomes more than… a physical element — it symbolizes hope, direction, and the instinct to move toward something brighter, even from the depths.
This painting is part of my continuing exploration of water, light, and the emotional states they can evoke.
