Olena Horhol is an artist based in Poland whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Slovakia, Ukraine, and the Netherlands. She creates minimalistic landscapes, sometimes documenting a scene, on other occasions she removes the most unnoticeable or unimportant piece, making it self-sufficient. Horhol's pieces contain patterns of light and shade, shapes, forms, color, and contrasts. She brings her background as a textile artist to her painted works by way of brushstrokes that resembles a set of threads.
