About this artwork
In this painting, I harnessed the vivid contrasts and spontaneous movements embodying expressionism and impressionism. I chose acrylics for their rich texture and quick-drying properties, which helped me capture the fleeting moments of emotional intensity. The semi-abstract form isn't bound by the strict confines of realism, allowing each viewer's imagination to wander freely through the vibrant play of colors and dynamic brush strokes, encouraging… a personal connection with the artwork that can both energize and soothe a living space.
Olga Aleksandrova is an artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Monaco and Russia. In addition, her art has been featured in publications such as Ateliers D'Art and C de L'ART. Aleksandrova is particularly fascinated by the expressiveness, plasticity, and rhythms of trees. Through her artistic practice, she continuously seeks to renew herself, leading her towards stylized silhouettes, the superposition of shapes, and color that is often dissociated from the image.
