"VR" unfolds a fascinating scene that takes the viewer into the depths of virtual reality. Dominated by various pastel tones, the work shows a series of tile-like shapes that seem to float weightlessly through space. Some of the tiles are clearly outlined, while others seem to fade or blur, giving the impression that they are in a state of constant transformation.
The tiles can be metaphors for the building blocks of our perception - are they pixels… that make up reality? Or are they fragments of a hologram that represents our universe? The flying tiles symbolize the uncertainty and mystery of the universe. The soft pastel tones, especially the omnipresent purple, give the work a meditative, almost surreal atmosphere that invites the viewer to reflect on the nature of reality and the limits of the human imagination.

Born in 1983, the artist Olga Biberdorf, known for profound abstract art, showed a strong interest in art from an early age. She quickly developed her own creative language, but lost contact with art over the years. It was not until she was 30 that she rediscovered her passion and devoted herself intensively to her work. In this second phase, she dealt deeply with various topics and transformed them into expressive, abstract works. Her works of art, characterized by unique technique and stylistic diversity, are answers to inner questions and reflections. With renewed enthusiasm, she took part in numerous international exhibitions, where her works were very well received and are appreciated by art collectors around the world. The artist lives and works in Augsburg, Germany.
