About this artwork
This work was created specifically for the Art as Remedy charity auction.
The idea for the flip painting came to me some time ago and I think it fits the theme of the auction.
Everything has two sides that are the shape and foundation of each other.
Yin and Yang. Light and shadow. Good and evil.
The stormy sky turns into a facade of sparkling ice cliffs. And the light breaking through the clouds turns into mountain folds.
In the same way, grief… and hard times become the foundation on which the inner strength grows, driving us forward into the light.
I believe that only the person himself can truly heal his own soul. To do this, you need to look inside yourself to find the harmony and grow it up.
This upside-down painting has two tops and two bottoms. You can turn it upside down and each time you will see new meanings. It is perfect for contemplation. You see not just mountains or an iceberg, you immerse yourself in your own world and find solace in it.
