About this artwork
This painting has a very interesting history. My graduate work, written in 1994, won many competitions. After 30 years, I was invited to participate in a large, well-known exhibition. A prerequisite was to include this picture in the show. But my student's famous painting is in another country and is not available for transportation. In order not to lose the opportunity to participate in the exhibition, I decided to make a repeat of the author’s…
work. I slightly changed the size of the painting, this painting is 100cm-70cm. I was very interested in how, after so many years, I would rethink my painting and paint it again. I painted this picture and mentally returned to my youth as a student, imbued with that state. Writing this work of art brought back memories of my youth, joy, and reminded me of old friends and art school. They say that you cannot step into the same river twice. This picture is metaphorically called. Painting in a handmade wooden frame. Frame depth 3 cm.
