"Bloom #8" is a captivating minimalistic artwork that showcases the transformative power of recycled materials, breathing new life into discarded paper scraps from previous projects.
The piece features delicate circular shapes, reminiscent of broken eggshells, meticulously crafted from paper pulp. These circles are carefully shaped, dried, and acquire a shell-like texture. The front of the circles is painted with matte acrylic ultramarine paint,… infusing the composition with striking vibrancy. The reverse side boasts luxurious liquid gold leaf embellishments, highlighting the intrinsic value of recycled materials.
In "Bloom #8," the circles are arranged in a circular formation, evoking the image of a magnificent bouquet. Mounted on a wood panel base, the artwork is protected from UV rays and environmental elements by an acrylic box, which adds a modern touch to the piece.
