About this artwork

This monochrome white paper sculpture, titled Traces of Time, is 15x15 inches and set on a 20x20 base. The artwork captures the essence of natural formations through a minimalistic yet deeply textured approach. The layers, torn and intricately arranged, evoke the organic patterns found in nature, reminiscent of geological strata or weathered landscapes. The subtle contours suggest the passage of time, where the marks and lines echo the slow, transformative… power of natural forces.

The torn parts of the paper subtly shift in color depending on the light source: under daylight, they take on a slight ivory hue, while in artificial light, they maintain a pure white monochrome.
