System. Almost every aspect of human existence is shaped by a system of interconnected schemes. Here are shown what man does with his hands to create such systems and the effect of those systems on the people who's hands do the working.
As an artist, I also have systems in place. My choice to use collages instead of sketches is a 'systematic' choice. I believe it brings me closer to the truth - having to use photographs - it only works because it… is a system that I adhere to. I could change, but, as I have seen over and over, changing the system will change the result.
