He consistently examines painting conventions, how we construct and understand them, and how they relate to our everyday lives, in order to draw audiences' attention to the unspoken codes of beauty that underlie our engagement with the world. His techniques seamlessly blend classical realism with modern visual languages, exploring themes at the intersection of realism, allegory, and pop culture.
