Lavangelio sculpture is a reflection of the complex interplay between abstract constructivism aesthetics and spiritual art. “Lavangelio” is used in Andalusia when one wants to indicate that something is like this and cannot be otherwise by divine command. This sculpture serves as the end of a search for simple forms that have a resounding aesthetic meaning. Made with hammer and anvil, “Lavangelio” sums up the work done in iron to date.
Within the… JONDO series, which tries to search for a simple truth in a primitive essence in the forms, functioning as a deep aesthetic resonator. In a current reality where noise and striking images prevail, JONDO offers calm, silence, contemplation and an inner look.
I am an Andalusian engineer, sculptor, and art therapist. I mainly work in metal sculpture and watercolor, bringing together craft and symbolism through a multidisciplinary path that blends the structural and the emotional.
My style moves between abstract sculpture—with essential forms and symbolic spaces that invite contemplation—and figurative sculpture, where I give priority to gesture and energy rather than perfection. My watercolors, subtle and emotional, explore the ephemeral and the intimate.
Through all my work, I seek to provoke silence, resonance, and encounter—to stir introspective emotion and offer a space that can be inhabited by the soul.
