Sculpture based on the myth of Kairos. Kayros is the time of opportunity, of the possible, of what cannot be otherwise or at another moment. That moment that changes the future of things, which cannot be expected or measured, which if you doubt it passes.
The sculptural piece proposes a tension of leap and emptiness as an indication of the connection of divine temporality with authentic reality, detaching ourselves from the illusory reality created… by the ego.
This series contains a sample of archetypes normally associated with mythology that have always had a reason for being, beyond religious beliefs, an inner search. The archetype is an idealization of a genuine impulse that remains latent until we take it and carry out the so-called “hero’s way.”
I am an Andalusian engineer, sculptor, and art therapist. I mainly work in metal sculpture and watercolor, bringing together craft and symbolism through a multidisciplinary path that blends the structural and the emotional.
My style moves between abstract sculpture—with essential forms and symbolic spaces that invite contemplation—and figurative sculpture, where I give priority to gesture and energy rather than perfection. My watercolors, subtle and emotional, explore the ephemeral and the intimate.
Through all my work, I seek to provoke silence, resonance, and encounter—to stir introspective emotion and offer a space that can be inhabited by the soul.
