« We are related or connected with nature- which we eat, use, and enjoy. »
American painter and sculptor Rivera-Pinto first self-trained in photography in 1996. In 2013, she visited the Dali Museum in Florida and was inspired to work in surrealist painting. Passionate about the connection between humans and the natural world, many of Pinto's works center around themes of conservation and human's relation with nature. Pinto's oil on canvas surrealist works range from dreamy and romantic to biting observations about the state of the natural world.
