A trip to Edinburgh is always a discovery. A different light, a reflection that brings the water of the Canal of Leith to life, transforms the entire landscape.
That late morning, after walking the Leith Walk from Stockbridge, the Leith Canal suddenly appeared before my eyes in a splendid light. Fascinated by such wonder, I immediately looked for the best position. As I took the shot, a whirlwind of emotions filled me. When I returned to the hotel… in the evening, I could already visualize in my mind the interpretation I would give to the photograph. The photographic filters faded before my eyes. When I finally found the right tone, I felt immense satisfaction: my emotion of joy mixed with amazement was conveyed in the fine art photograph.
