Painting inspired by the strong suggestions that arose from an evening spent with a storyteller in the alleys of Siena, one of the most beautiful and mysterious cities in Italy, rich in history, secrets, traditions and curious legends that also tell of frightening creatures and spine-chilling stories , whose intensity flows through generations, uniting past and present. as the magic square, located externally on the Cathedral of Siena: it bears a mysterious phrase that remains the same, even if read backwards. Oil allowed me to mix realism and expressionism, to highlight deep emotions and invite an internal dialogue. Each stroke brings energy and passion into your home, evoking the rich facets of the human experience.

Paola Imposimato is an award-winning painter and draftsman whose works have been extensively exhibited throughout her native Italy, as well as in Austria and France. She defines her artistic style as "contemporary Renaissance", as it has a solid figurative base that is also structured on Greco-Roman art. Imposimato is often inspired by portraiture (of real and imaginary characters), the range of human emotions, poetry, historical re-enactments, the world of music and theater.
