About this artwork
In the creation of this work I poured the vibrations of expressionism and a touch of surrealism, mixing the oil to create a scene full of emotional tension and metaphysical depth. The forms distort in the particularly rich, articulated and full-bodied pictorial material, and merge in a journey through human passions and highlighting the internal conflict and struggle with existence. operas, influenced above all by the figure of the female protagonist who, according to Norse mythology, chose who could die or survive in battle, bringing part of her chosen ones to the theater of the warriors' afterlife. This canvas will transport those who observe it into a world where emotions meet and dance together, bringing a lively and passionate energy to every environment.

Paola Imposimato is an award-winning painter and draftsman whose works have been extensively exhibited throughout her native Italy, as well as in Austria and France. She defines her artistic style as "contemporary Renaissance", as it has a solid figurative base that is also structured on Greco-Roman art.
