About this artwork
In creating this work I used acrylics to draw a sea of diffuse emotions on canvas. The semi-abstract and symbolic aesthetic floats through serene shades of blue contrasted with vibrant bursts of pink, representing a dance of flowers in motion. These flowers, freely interpreted, symbolize the continuous gift of beauty and inspiration. Inviting this work into your home, it will bring a spark of calm and creativity, refreshing any space with its gentle… yet impactful energy.
Paola Morandi, with a basic training in acrylics, oils and watercolors, explores the artistic language. Using acrylic for semi-abstracts and watercolor for representations of nature, his style is synthetic but never hyper-realistic, with preferences for impressionism. Morandi's works, inspired from within and without herself, emanate the blazing interludes between nature and humanity, rich in palpable emotions.
