“Massimo” is part of the series “Faces”, a group of artworks in which Paolo Borile investigated the human face and how to paint it. The artist painted this artwork in a gestural, expressive style, from a picture he took during the photo shoot for the painting “Massimo – The toy car”. As you can see, Paolo left the pencil lines of the drawing to underline the… spontaneus nature of the artwork.
