About this artwork
The work depicts a businessman in solitary contemplation. Made entirely of black terracotta, it was then cold-painted after firing with oil paints, matching the shirt and tie. The seat is made of plexiglass and mounted on a wooden base, painted with acrylic paint.

A professional photographer in the 1980s, he uses photography, painting, and sculpture to explore the human journey and the emotions of places of transit, drawing inspiration from Calvino's literature. His techniques range from photographic realism to figurative painting and wood and terracotta sculpture, always seeking to capture moments of life and personal feelings. His works convey profound moments of anticipation and introspection, inviting the viewer to share universal emotions in the most diverse places around the world.
