About this artwork
A truly multi-creative, truly unique work! First I printed the famous hand-drawn fish on canvas, then printed it and used it as a background for a very solid multi-layered painting. It was all hand-painted with metallic acrylic in the colors of the Likeafishart Sea, and then bonded to a compressed wood panel, shaped like the original fish to highlight the existence of this iconic form (which only Chinese friends say looks like a duck, not the famous…
fish). It reflects and captures the light, like all my hand-painted paintings, and adds color to any space and corner of LikeaUmani.
It is an invitation to look at the world in more layers, bringing an enveloping and meditative energy into your home.
