About this artwork
In this work I used a technique that allows the elements to appear suspended, giving a varied visual effect depending on the viewer's point of view.
Geometric shapes appear to be in motion, so there is a play of forces exerted by these shapes that captures the eye
Horizontal force = yellow pyramid; downward force = black pyramid; upward force = external resin pyramid.
This sculpture represents man fighting for the survival of his soul.
The frenzy… of this world represented by the red and black marble seems like the magma of a volcano that burns and consumes the individual.
But hope appears, divine help, the two yellow pyramids which allow him to return to the earth symbolized by the inverted black pyramid.
