About this artwork
Pappay explores the hidden beauty and history of industrial objects that we often take for granted.
This old tagged tanker wagon exudes a certain urban beauty with its mirror effect and is nonetheless a strong symbol of street art.
Each stroke, each vivid color against the rusty textures, seeks to capture a vibrant urban narrative, imbued with character and resilience. This painting is not just a representation; it is a celebration of perseverance… across time and urban space.
The realism that emerges from this work is very characteristic of the artist's work.

« Colors and emotions are the essences of our lives. »
Pappay is a French painter and sculptor whose works are exhibited internationally, in Europe and the United States. He draws his inspiration from the chaos of cities and their architecture, as well as from graphic design and street art. In addition, Pappay has always been fascinated by the relationship between humanity and its environment. The scenes depicted in his compositions are devoid of any human presence, where time is suspended, objects and buildings are witnesses of life and history "ready to come to life".
