About this artwork
Street corner typical of the United States, and more particularly of New York. The characteristic brick facades of buildings in Brooklyn or the Upper West Side testify to a teeming life at all times. On the ground floor, a fast food restaurant for a well-deserved break.
Pappay likes to dwell on the details of our lives, on architectural elements, witnesses of an abundant humanity and a certain freedom.
Work done on canvas with spray paint and acrylic… marker.
Flashy colors ideal for a contemporary decoration.

« Colors and emotions are the essences of our lives. »
Pappay is a French painter and sculptor whose works are exhibited internationally, in Europe and the United States. He draws his inspiration from the chaos of cities and their architecture, as well as from graphic design and street art. In addition, Pappay has always been fascinated by the relationship between humanity and its environment. The scenes depicted in his compositions are devoid of any human presence, where time is suspended, objects and buildings are witnesses of life and history "ready to come to life".
