Nobody understood, they thought him curious and slunk away when they saw him coming. He carried his blanket, dragged it, wore it, danced with it; all the while oblivious to the stares and mutterings he drew as he passed. Today was warm and he rested a while, looking around at the sun-baked earth...he would fashion a shade and stand beneath his versatile blanket drawing pictures in the dirt with a stick; 'what a wonderful Sunday afternoon' he thought.
