“Sodalizio Magico” is a pair of watercolors that establishes a dialogue between two sacred and complementary presences: the ampoule of San Gennaro, linked to the solar element, and that of Santa Patrizia, associated with the lunar element and the figure of Partenope.
The ampoules emerge like relics: glass, reflections, and transparencies… preserve a vivid red, a symbol of energy, memory, and protection. Around them, subtle traces of their faces suggest an "alchemical" aura: a ritual breathing, as if the forms were activated by an invisible pact between male and female.
The diptych functions as a balance: Sun and Moon, strength and protection, vigor and listening. Two intimate icons that, when placed side by side, become a single narrative.

Pasquale Scognamiglio is a Neapolitan artist whose work spans painting, printmaking, and visual experimentation. Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, he develops a poetic and symbolic language through mixed media, watercolor, glazes, and layering on paper and antique materials. His works intertwine myth, spirituality, memory, and Neapolitan identity in compositions suspended between the sacred and the profane.
