About this artwork
In crafting this sculpture, I infused my passion for nature's resilience and growth. Shaped from metal, each curve and ascent embodies our intertwined journey with the earth—celebrating the human spirit's ability to rise and flourish. It's a reminder of rebirth and the continuous cycle of renewal, set to bring an aura of inspiration and contemplative energy into any space it graces.

« My body of work features figurative sculpture representing situations and experiences of the day-to-day. »
Pathmal Yahampath is a young Sri Lankan sculptor who has exhibited his work in Colombo. He seeks for his sculptures to express a certain dignity and majesty, balancing this with explorations of light-hearted postures and the observations of cultural norms. The heavy metal rods welded together resemble the human muscular system, and Yahampath's main materials are iron and copper.
