About this artwork
In crafting this metal sculpture, I've intertwined strength with vulnerability. The freestanding form captures the essence of resilience, while the central sphere signifies the complex, intertwined nature of our emotions and experiences. It's a celebration of human endurance, designed to radiate energy and provoke reflection in your space.

« My body of work features figurative sculpture representing situations and experiences of the day-to-day. »
Pathmal Yahampath is a young Sri Lankan sculptor who has exhibited his work in Colombo. He seeks for his sculptures to express a certain dignity and majesty, balancing this with explorations of light-hearted postures and the observations of cultural norms. The heavy metal rods welded together resemble the human muscular system, and Yahampath's main materials are iron and copper.
