About this artwork
It is a tribute to many women in China who, following the millenary tradition of the "golden lotus", when they were little were subjected to the traumatic and terribly painful deformation of the feet to please the man and that his hesitant walking kept them behind. The impact of this reality led me to cut the part of the legs from the knee to the bottom of the uniform of

Patricia Glauser is a sculptor based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Slovakia, Germany, Colombia, and Croatia. Her art is born of the need to externalize the feeling of "living in between", as a neutral space between theinterior and exterior, material and energy, as well as presence and absence, trauma and post-trauma. Violence against women is one of Glauser's central themes, which she represents through the form of the dress.
