About this artwork
Tender Blue Wish explores the poetry of blue in its most delicate expression. Soft, layered shades unfold with an almost weightless presence, suggesting openness, depth and a silent sense of longing.
The painting balances serenity and emotion, inviting the viewer into a contemplative space where stillness feels expansive rather than empty.
A timeless work of quiet strength and refined sensitivity.
Patricia von Andersen-Hausen is a contemporary abstract artist from Düsseldorf, Germany, whose work captures the essence of minimalism. Her art is deeply connected to nature, particularly water and the sea, as well as the harmonic structures of classical music. She studied fine arts at Poznan University of the Arts, KLC School of Design, West Dean College, Yale University, Bradford University, Mozarteum Salzburg, Leeds Conservatoire, and the Free University of Berlin. In her art, she explores the interplay of simplicity and complexity, using a reduced palette to investigate form, color, and material. She currently works with liquid media such as ink, watercolor, and diluted acrylic paint on paper or natural materials, with serendipity being an integral part of her creative process. Her works create tranquil, meditative spaces that offer viewers moments of contemplation and inner peace.
