artist statement
The inspiration for these pieces, continues in these three series, all work derivative from the larger painting “FALLEN”. Here I express thoughts regarding our place in the universe, incorporating many cosmic truths, revealed throughout the cultures of the… world, through their Art.
In these works, THE ARTIST is working with paint, paper, & fibers, in a collage, painting, & mixed media approach. Rain is interested in the process, the process of creating, the process of becoming.
She inspired by the ancient theories concerning the origins of the human race and our relationship with Orion & the Cosmos.
