The technique is oil on wood and the textures are very three dimensional, which is even more enforced by the flat surface of the wood panel.

Patrick Domo paints large-format figurative and architectural compositions in oil on canvas. Each painting is built in a single continuous session — often twenty-four hours straight, wet-in-wet, before anything dries. The parts he prepares are the bones. The parts he can't control are what make the painting alive.
Born in Bavaria, based in Berlin for several years, now returned. Work held in private collections across Europe, Switzerland, the United States, and Russia.
