About this artwork
Untitled V is part of the concept series "Untitled". The artist moves away from depicting realistic portraits, but rather tries to capture raw emotions.
Not giving the painting a title leaves the viewer with his own interpretation.
This painting show a figure floating in space. Not falling, not rising. Or is she?

« I navigate the dangers of assessing and labeling while also capturing the true core of a character. »
Patrick Domo paints large-format figurative and architectural compositions in oil on canvas. Each painting is built in a single continuous session — often twenty-four hours straight, wet-in-wet, before anything dries. The parts he prepares are the bones. The parts he can't control are what make the painting alive.
