This painting illustrates a great horned owl in the old growth pine forest on Fripp Island, SC, USA. Patrick painted this painting from photo references he had taken on the island. This painting has appeared in 3 national/international juried exhibitions and this painting earned Patrick his Signature Membership in the Watercolor Art Society of Houston in 2017.

Patrick Faile is a painter and draftsman based in the United States whose works have been widely exhibited nationally.
