About this artwork
Acrylic on canvas with material effects on the canvas. Slices painted black. 100 X 100 cm, ready to hang. I wanted to make fabrics with materials and thicknesses, I started to stick on the frame of the food film that I shaped with my little fingers, to give it an acceptable relief. After a long drying, I stabilized the whole thing with gesso and improvised small controlled drips on a drawing inspired by a photo from the end of the 19th century where…
we could see the head of an Indian from North America. In the evening when I wanted to put the leftovers from the dinner in the fridge, I ran out of food film.
